Saturday the 14th

6:10 pm

We returned from a post-dinner walk.  I forgot to check the time that we left, but I believe it was about 5:15pm.  Buddy barely touched any food, which I thought meant he needed to make room first.  We went out as soon as Bubba stepped away from his food dish.

We went across the street, but didn’t make it far past the first stairs.  Both guys pooped.

3:30 pm

Mail & UPS Store runs.  2 packages and 1 envelope at the UPS Store.  Various mail items, including one serious-looking item from the DMV for Jeremy.

1:55pm

It’s been very warm, and the guys have slept while I studied.  We had to turn on the A/C once it got to be 77 inside, even with the fans going.  Buddy looked uncomfortable.

Bubba finally decided to get up and get dressed to walk.  We managed to get 20% of the way up the path to PCH and both guys wanted to come home.  They were probably fooled by the A/C into thinking it was nicer (less-hot) outside.

Neither guy pooped.

9:30 am

Migraine day, and since the guys were up so late I let the Excedrin soak in before heading over.  And I was too late.

The reason Bubba was so easy going on Friday the 13th is because he was saving it up for when my guard would be down.  Poop on the deck.  Poop in the bathroom.  The guys were both up, and alert and in Playtime! mode when I got there.  Buddy needed to go out, and I could tell he needed to go out badly.  He got right into his harness and got to the door.  Bubba wanted to play games.  He stood and howled at me, while I was on my knees, holding out the harness.  He would turn to face me straight-on, and I’d move forward to put on the harness, and he would run.  We did this three times, and I gave up.  Between my still-achking head, and Buddy’s urgency to use the bathroom, I couldn’t continue the game.

The walk was very short, and still longer than I expected.  Buddy wanted to go up the path to PCH.  He didn’t poop right away – unexpected, and then he pooped twice = also unexpected.  We walked about half way up the path before turning around to head home.
